Schauffele Wins at Travelers After Theegala's Double Bogey

Xander Schauffele won the Travelers Championship

with a 3-stroke swing at the final hole Sunday,

hitting to a few toes for birdie after rookie Sahith Theegala took

shots to get out of a bunker and made a double bogey within the organization ahead.

The Olympic champion received with a 3-stroke swing at the very last hollow,

hitting to three ft for birdie after rookie Sahith Theegala took  pictures to get out

of a bunker and made a double bogey within the group in advance.

A stroke in front coming into the day, Schauffele completed with a 2-underneath

68 at TPC River Highlands to overcome Theegala and J.T. Poston via two strokes.

Schauffele had a 19-underneath 261 general.

“My mind became telling me to hit a good force after which

use your sand wedge or lob wedge in there and make birdie,” Schauffele stated.

“To sit down there and watch what befell changed into a bit of a surprise, obviously.

I genuinely needed to try and recognition on the venture handy.”

It changed into his first ever win after having a fifty four hole lead.
