Naylor's 2-Run HR in 10th Gives Guardians 7-6 Win Over Twin
Josh Naylor hit a two-run homerun with two outs in the tenth inning,
finishing a four-run rally that gave the
Cleveland Guardians a 7-6 triumph over the Minnesota Twins.
Amed Rosario started the rebound with a one-out twofold off nearer
Emilio Pagán that scored programmed sprinter Richie Palacios,
provoking the Twins to get Jharel Cotton (2-2).
A passed ball by Ryan Jeffers scored Steven Kwan,
and Cotton resigned José Ramírez before Naylor drove
his most memorable game-finishing homer onto the left field yard.
Minnesota had taken a 6-3 lead in the highest point of the tenth on a RBI
single from special hitter Carlos Correa and a two-show homer to Max Kepler off Eli Morgan (4-2).
It was Kepler's fourteenth homer in 45 vocation games at Progressive Field.
Alex Kirilloff hit a two-run homerun in the 6th and Gio Urshela followed
with a performance shot off Guardians starter Cal Quantrill,
tying the game at 3 on Minnesota's second consecutive homers of the year.
Kirilloff coordinated his season best with three hits,
while Urshela had a couple. AL batting pioneer Luis Arraez
went 0 for 5 for the Twins, dropping his normal to .337.
