2022 John Deere Classic leaderboard: J.T. Poston races out to two-stroke lead with 62 in Round 1

Poston holds the lead over Michael Gligic after 18 holes at TPC Deere Run

SILVIS, Ill. (AP) -- J.T. Poston shot a nine-underneath 62 on Thursday 

 to take a two-stroke lead inside the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic.

Coming off a 2nd-area tie ultimate week in Connecticut, Poston eagled 

the par-5 2nd and had seven birdies in a bogey-free spherical at TPC Deere Run.

"It's, glaringly, why you exercise and why you figure

as tough as you do in your game," Poston said. 

"Any time you may have those rounds wherein you definitely

get it going low and blunder-loose, bogey-unfastened is a bonus.

It's why you work at it and why you practice the manner we do."

Canadian Michael Gligic changed into second at sixty four, 

playing inside the final organization of the time without work the primary tee. 

Vaughn Taylor and Christopher Gotterup followed at 65. 

 Ricky Barnes, Denny McCarthy, Chris Naegel and Dylan Frittelli shot sixty six.
