Fernando Tatis injury update: Padres' star making progress in recovery from wrist surgery
San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. Is making development in his healing from a
fractured left wrist that is saved him sidelined for the whole thing of the 2022 season to this point.
Tatis on Tuesday met with the general practitioner who repaired the wrist in March and
become cleared to boom the intensity of his fielding drills. "I recognize he is
excited about the fact that he is going to be on the sector with us, no
regulations as a long way as taking floor balls, throwing and so forth,"
Padres manager Bob Melvin stated, thru MLB.Com. "Hitting's going to be the closing component."
For Tatis and the Padres this is specially encouraging news for the reason that,
at final update, he wasn't progressing pretty as hoped. Now, even though,
he's increasing interest, and a capability timetable for his return is starting to emerge.
The next step can be swinging the bat at full velocity, which can occur in about weeks.
Additional ramping up plus a minor-league rehab assignment might come subsequent,
